Welcome to the Portuguese National Center of Telehealth!

The Portuguese National Center of Telehealth (CNTS) was created by the Portuguese Government in October 2016 and is part of the Shared Services of the Ministry of Health (SPMS, E.P.E).

Its mission is to facilitate the citizens’ access to health, to ensure its equity and to increase the efficiency of national resources by taking advantage of information and communication technology.

Thereby it supports the broader national strategy of a holistic approach to health, care integration and citizen’s empowerment.
